week 5, evening: room 111
[ percival opens the door for their unidentified guest, allowing to shut behind them. he looks at the room before him, and he knows that this-- this is going to be a shitshow.
but it's a necessary one, that's for certain. ]
Andersen: be civil. [ he says it through clenched teeth. ]
These two are some of the most useful allies you'll have here -- even in spite of their...differences. They can tell you that for themselves.
We have much to discuss...but your cooperation is appreciated.

this is diplomacy at its finest, folks. ]
That's why I'm here, after all. But I do have to say right away that I won't be revealing the identities of my companions. It'll be unfair for me to do so without their permission.

I think that's fair? We have a few people we trust, but we don't tell them everything, tooooooo. It's pretty unsafe? Who knows who will hear. There's birdies everywhere, Jayjay!
Andie and I aren't actually on bad terms, though. We're a good team, me and him. [ HIP CHECK with andersen, even if he doesn't want it. ] We're like... the ears? Yeah, the ears!
[ she'll explain if prodded! ]

[ his harsh features soften a bit, possibly with pride. ]
We don't expect you to tell us about the rest of the Hunters. You being here is enough — you said you weren't permitted to speak of the information bestowed upon you, didn't you?

I know you might be wondering why it took us so long to reach out in public. We have the ability to either arm or check one person each week. Checking will tell us if a person is a Prophet or a Sacrifice, along with their role. We were given the task of being Hunters our very first Monday here, but we weren't allowed to actually start using our abilities until the following one, during our second week.
[ so, one week where they couldn't do anything but theorize. ]
When I said that we didn't like the idea of leaving everyone in the dark, I did mean it. We originally got the idea of leaving you all notes during our... second week, I believe? But that would have ruined our one real advantage-- the Prophets had no idea that we, as a group, existed. The Hunters aren't an official aspect of this game, which is why we were never announced along with the other roles and rules. Craftly created us as a means to rebel against the system. It made no logical sense to out ourselves to people who we hadn't confirmed to be non-Prophets at that point. However, as you can see, they obviously learned about us, which is why we're now more free to move about. We have already spoken to the people we have confirmed to be safe about this as well.
